The Vietnamese stock market is a platform for trading stocks of companies listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) ¹. The market is divided into two main indices: the VN-Index and the HNX-Index ². The VN-Index is the primary stock market index of HOSE, which tracks the performance of 303 equities listed on the Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi Stock Exchange in Vietnam ⁵. The HNX-Index, on the other hand, tracks the performance of all shares listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange ².
